We as Procenne, founded to develop national HSM in 2013, have achieved many successes in the past 10 years. We produced Turkey's first commercial HSM, ProCrypt, and managed to obtain international certificates, CC EAL 4+ and PCI HSM v3.0, and exported ProCrypt during the pandemic. As with PCI HSM v3.0, ProCrypt KM-X Performance and KM-X Premium became the first national and one of the firsts that receive PCI HSM 4.x certificate just in the beginning of 2024.
As Procenne, founded in 2013 by 3 entrepreneurs who had engineer backgrounds, we have achieved many successes in the past 10 years. The national HSM ProCrypt, development started in 2013, was launched in 2018 with the KM-3000 model. Preferred by many institutions in the public and private sectors, ProCypr HSM was recognized by international authorities by receiving CC EAL 4+ in 2019 and PCI HSM v3.0 certificates in 2021, and managed to meet the requirements and obligations of both general data protection and payment systems in a single unit.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic that broke out in 2020, we did not slow down, focused on the development of the new generation HSM and introduced the KM-X model in 2021. In the following period, we focused on certification processes, by obtaining the CC EAL 4+ certificate for this model in 2022 and made the first deliveries.
New Certificate in the New Year
While we focused on both product development and reinforcement and certification processes in the field of payment systems in 2023, we achieved another first in our country by reveiving PCI HSM 4.x certification for the KM-X Performance and KM-X Premium models at the very beginning of 2024. We are happy to be one of the first companies in the world to successfully complete this certification process, as well as being the first in our country.
With the PCI HSM 4.x certification, that we worked with UL Laboratory,ProCrypt KM-X Performance and KM-X Premium passed the examinations in terms of security against device attacks, such as protection of cryptographic keys within the device even if its limit is breached, logical security features, adaptability to unusual scripts or modes of operation, strong authentication, secure key management to prevent misuse and cleartext disclosure of sensitive data and PINs, secure firmware management etc.
We, as Procenne, had a running start to 2024 with PCI HSM 4.x certification. With this certificate, the power of ProCrypt HSM has been approved by the international authority in the field of payment systems. As a Turkish company, we are ready to meet the payment systems HSM needs in both the domestic and foreign markets, thanks to PCI HSM 4.x certified ProCrypt HSM.
