System and Network Security

Database Security

Database management systems are sensitive and need-to-protect software that hold critical information of organizations or individuals. The number of web applications that can be accessed over the internet and use databases is increasing day by day. Security measures taken for databases in network supported environments are often insufficient and security breaches occur. Database encryption is the best and safest way to ensure security. By using ProCrypt KM-3000 HSM, an entire database can be encrypted or encrypted in the critical table or field, and database security can be increased to higher levels.

File, Disk Security

In today's informatics world, there are too many transactions that can be measured every second and these transactions are recorded on the disks through files. A significant portion of this data stored in files and disks can have a critical degree of security. From the past to date, file and disk security has been mostly provided by software-based encryption. There are two important disadvantages of software-based security, the first of which is that the keys used in encryption are accessible to human access and even trying to hide them by methods controlled by the software developer. The second is that the servers or computers running software used for security purposes do not have sufficient performance for high performance encryption processes.

Dozens of data are processed on computers every day and a lot of sensitive information is created that is critical to security. Encrypting sensitive information in software software does not provide a strong security infrastructure as much as hardware encryption. With hardware encryption, storing keys in encrypted text on the hardware itself provides a high level of security. Thanks to ProCrypt KM-3000, the security of the data on the disks can be done with high performance with a hardware specially developed for encryption. Also, the keys used in encryption are created and stored in a physically secure environment without human intervention.

SSL Offloading

Secure Socket Layer (SSL), the Secure Socket Layer, is an encryption procedure that ensures communication over the internet. SSL encoding ensures that user communication is secure. It is widely used in applications such as network scanning, electronic mail, fax over the internet, instant messaging and voice communication over the internet. SSL encryption and decryption can be done on a different server or firewall to alleviate the load of the relevant application server. That is, SSL offloading is performed outside the application server. Although SSL offloading is done outside the application server, although this server relieves the load, the firewall or server where SSL offloading is performed in high traffic services will be inadequate and the service provided will be disrupted. SSL offloading processes are performed with high performance with ProCrypt KM-3000 HSM, which has been specially developed for encryption and decryption, ensures the security of keys and prevents service downtime.
